CHAPTER 46

Andrea sat in her room.  She had so many things revealed to her; she was not sure what to think about The Masters.

She stayed in her room for a couple of days trying to sort things out in her own mind.

Now, she was not afraid but confused.  Another emotion she was not used to.  The Masters encouraged her to use her powers and they were stretching her emotions also.  So much was being thrown at her at one time that she was beginning to doubt herself.

She turned to look out the window and there, sitting on the windowsill was a cat perched on the ledge.  Next to the cat was Dragon, his head stuck in her window with a silly smile on his face.  All she could do was laugh.

"Would you like to go for a ride?" Dragon asked her as he winked.

Andrea laughed.  She could not be mad.

She agreed that maybe it would be fun to go out for a ride with Dragon.  He looked so cute leering at her the way he was.  She sat down on the windowsill, the Dragon picked her up in his arms and away they flew.

Beast dashed off, through her room and down the stairs to join Celestial and Starchild.

They watched as Dragon and Andrea flew over and out of sight.

"Do you think that was wise for us to let her go off with him?" asked Celestial.

Starchild watched as they disappeared over the horizon.  "I think they need the time together.  She has to trust him more than any of us."

"I know, but he has been acting awfully strange." Celestial remarked.

Starchild said, "I think it is going to be all right."

As Dragon and Andrea flew over the countryside, they laughed.  He finally sat her down in the meadow and transformed back into Demon.

Andrea smiled at him.  "I have had a lovely time."

"I am glad." said Demon.

"I know it is important that we get along." Andrea started nervously.

Demon shrugged his shoulders, "We just got off to a bad start.  Can we start again?"

“I think I would like that.”

Andrea and Demon spent many days together.  She was starting to think that maybe there was something more to this Demon than she had originally thought.  Maybe he was not as bad as she thought.  He seemed to be trying very hard to make her feel comfortable, not like when she first arrived.

Andrea enjoyed her time with The Masters.

Dot had not asked anymore about her getting married or a baby and that was good.  She could not take that pressure too.

CHAPTER 47

Andrea spent her time with Starchild learning more about the telepathy, learning how to control it better.

She spent time with Celestial learning more about teleporting and fine-tuning her abilities.

She roamed the meadow with Beast learning to transform quicker and to take different shapes. She learned about hunting and looking to nature for clues.

She spent her time with Demon, Demon did not know she had wings, she had not told anyone but Beast, so he continued to carry her around as they flew over the valley.  He taught her how to control the fire that came from her hands.

Andrea's birthday was getting close it was only 6 days away.

"Andy….Andy"

"Yes, Dot."

"Are you going to have a birthday party?"

"I don't know Dot, I hadn’t thought about it."

"I want you to have a birthday party so I can come and visit you.  You said I could come and visit."

"I know I did Dot.  I will talk to Starchild."

"Andy, just tell them you want a birthday party and you want to invite me."

"I will tell them Dot."

"Andy?"

"Yes, Dot."

"Did you fall in love with The Masters yet?"

"No Dot, not yet."

"Are you working on it?"

"Yes Dot, I am working on it."

"Do you think you could get married for your birthday?"

"We will see Dot."

"Okay, night Andy."

"Night Dot."

"I love you Andy."

"I love you Dot."

The Masters summoned Andrea to the great hall.  She was surprised; they had never formally summoned her anywhere.

Was something wrong?  They had wanted her to be The Lady of the Manor, had they changed their minds?  Were they going to kick her out?

"Were you looking for me?" Andrea asked as she entered the great hall finding The Masters standing around the fireplace.

Each had a strange look on his face, which she could not understand.  This was a look she had never seen before, was there trouble?

"Andrea, come and sit down please." Starchild said.

"Is something wrong?  You look so serious."

"Andrea," Starchild started again, "do you remember when we talked about the prophecy?"

Andrea was starting to get nervous again.  They had not mentioned the prophecy in quite awhile.

"Yes, I remember." she said hesitantly.

The Masters exchanged glances.

"It is almost time." Starchild stammered.  He had to continue cautiously.  Starchild did not know if Andrea was ready or how she would react.

"Time?" Andrea questioned.  "Time for what?"

The Masters exchanged looks again.  This was not going to be easy.

CHAPTER 48

Starchild sat down next to Andrea.  "Andrea, the prophecy says that The Lady must mate with The Masters."

Andrea became very nervous.  This was the part of the prophecy that she dreaded the most.

Starchild hesitated, looking for the right words.  He decided that the best way to do this was just to tell her.

"Andrea, it is time.  It would be best for you if you spent the night with each of us before your birthday."  Starchild could not look at her.

Emotions were running through Andrea.  All of the emotions ran across her face from nervousness, to panic, to fear, and a little bit of curiosity.  She had never been with a man before and now they were asking her to bed all four of them.

Starchild glanced at her through lowered eyes to gauge her reaction.  He felt many emotions coming from her.

"Andrea, I will be the first." he continued to watch her reaction.

Andrea sat there staring at her hands; panic was the emotion that had emerged the strongest.

"Beast will be the following night, then Celestial, and then Demon."  Starchild still could not look directly at her.

"Is that all?" Andrea asked still looking down at her hands.  "Is that the reason you summoned me here?"

"Yes."

"When is this to take place?" Andrea asked.

"Tomorrow.  You must conceive on the night of your birthday."

"Oh" Andrea nervously played with her hands.

"Dot was asking if I was going to have a birthday party."  She was on the verge of tears, not knowing if it was from fear or anticipation.  "Dot wanted me to have a birthday party so he could come for a visit.  I don't think he should be here for this."

"No." Starchild agreed.  "I think he should wait.  A few days after your birthday he can come for a visit."

Andrea just nodded.  She got up and walked out of the room.

Demon watched her leave but could not gauge her reaction.  ‘Was she angry?  Was she afraid?’  He did not know how to respond to her.  He wanted to make it as easy for her as possible but he did not know what she was feeling and she did not look like she wanted to talk.

Andrea spent the rest of the day in her room.  She knew what was expected of her but there was an anticipation that she had not counted on.

There was a bright light in the room.

"It is almost time Andrea."  Miranda stood in the room with her.  "Are you ready?"

"I don't know if I am ready or not." Andrea admitted.

Miranda smiled.  "Starchild will take care of you.  He will be your first.  You have nothing to fear from him.”  Miranda continued to smile at Andrea.  "You are destined to be The Lady of the Manor."  With that she was gone leaving behind a white rose.

CHAPTER 49

Andrea woke in the morning.  Today was the day.  Today she would give herself to Starchild.

She climbed out of bed and the servants helped her bath.  They dressed her in a fine dress of dark purple with silver stars.  They brushed out her long hair and left it hanging down.

With dread Andrea walked downstairs, not knowing what she would face.  She held her head high as she descended the stairs displaying courage that she did not feel inside.

She walked into the great hall but no one was there.  She walked to the window and looked out at the rain.  She was starting to have second thoughts.  Maybe this was not a good thing after all.

She debated and argued with herself and she finally decided that she could not go through with this.  She turned to go back to her room and there stood Starchild in a robe that matched her dress.

"You look lovely today, my lady." Starchild told her.

Andrea could not respond.  She just stood there.  Starchild sensed her hesitation and knew what she was thinking.  He knew that she was ready to back out.

He reached out his hand, "Will you come with me now, my lady?"

Andrea reluctantly took his hand and Starchild lead her out of the great hall.  They walked down the corridor to a room she had never seen before.  It was a large room that had five throne like chairs arranged in a semi-circle.

The chair on the left end had cats carved into the legs and the cushions were green.

The next chair had carved roses that wound around the arms of the chair and the cushions were in dark purple.

The chair on the right end had lighting bolts carved into the wood the cushions were in blue.

The fourth chair had Dragon carvings and the cushions were in red.

The last chair, the one directly in the center was a combination of all four.  It had panthers carved into the legs, on the arms were lightning bolts, on the right side was roses, and on the left dragons were carved into wood and the cushions were in lavender.

"What is this room?" Andrea asked as she looked around.  "I have never seen this room before.”

Starchild watched her as she walked around looking at each of the chairs.  "This is the audience room.  At times we must hear from the villagers to settle disputes and pass judgments."

Andrea continued to look around at the chairs.  "But there are five chairs here."

"The fifth chair is for The Lady."

"I am to sit in judgment on people?" Andrea was alarmed.

"Yes, my lady.  The time will come when you will sit in judgment on people."

"You did not tell me about that."

"There are still many things for you to learn but it will all come in time.  Come with me now."

Starchild again took her hand and lead her to a large door.  The door was carved with roses.  He opened the door, which lead to his bedchamber.  Andrea hesitated at the door when she saw what was in the room.  "Come my lady."
